detailed process of reverse osmosis equipment 1

The process flow

Raw water → raw water tank → raw water pump → multi-medium filter (quartz sand filter) → activated carbon filter → soft water processor (add scale inhibitor device) → precision filter → high-pressure pump → reverse osmosis (RO) system → ultraviolet sterilization device (ozone sterilization device) → water point

Raw water tank

Storage of raw water is used to precipitate large sediment particles and other precipitable substances in water. At the same time, it buffers the impact caused by unstable water pressure in the original water pipe on the water treatment system. (E.g. pressure sensing reactions caused by water pressure that is too low or too high).

Raw water pump

The raw water pump is used to provide a pressurization guarantee for the sand filter, carbon filter, and fine filter of reverse osmosis pure water equipment, and the inlet pressure is stable and sufficient to play a pressurization role. Ensure that the pressurized water pressure is greater than the permeability resistance of the filter, carbon filter, and fine filter so that the pressurized water can efficiently pass through the pretreatment system and provide sufficient water for the RO system.

Multimedia filter

The main purpose of the filter is to remove the sediment, rust, colloidal material, suspended matter, and other particles in the raw water above 20um. Manual valve control or automatic controller can be used to carry out a series of operations such as backwashing and forward washing. Ensure the water quality of the equipment and extend the service life of the equipment.

Activated carbon filter

The system adopts a nut shell activated carbon filter; activated carbon can not only adsorb electrolyte ions but also carry out ion exchange adsorption. The COD of potassium permanganate can be reduced from 15mg/L (O2) to 2-7mg /L (O2) by activated carbon adsorption. In addition, due to the adsorption effect, the concentration of adsorption and replication on the surface increases. Therefore, it also plays a catalytic role in the removal of pigment, odor, a large number of biochemical organics in water, reducing the residual chlorine value of water and pesticide pollutants, and removing the trihalide (THM) and other pollutants in water. At the same time, the equipment has a self-maintenance system; the operation cost is very low.

Ion softening system/dosing system

RO device to dissolve the solid shape content enrichment of emissions and the use of freshwater, to prevent the thick water side especially RO device last membrane module thick water side of CaCO3, MgCO3, MgSO4, CaSO4, BaSO4, SrSO4, SiSO4 concentration is greater than the equilibrium solubility constant deposition and crystallization precipitation, Damages the due characteristics of the original membrane. Before entering the reverse osmosis membrane module, an ion softening device or an appropriate amount of scale inhibitor should be used to prevent the crystal precipitation of carbonate, SiO2, and sulfate.

Precision filter

The precision filter is used to remove the suspended matter, non-curved particles, and colloid in the water, so that the RO system and other subsequent equipment can operate more safely and reliably. The filter element is 5um melt-blown filter element; the purpose is to remove the impurities greater than 5um missed by the upper filter unit. To prevent it from entering the reverse osmosis device and damaging the surface of the membrane, thus damaging the desalination performance of the membrane.

High-pressure pump

The high-pressure pump provides differential pressure power for the water quality separation of RO membrane in reverse osmosis pure water equipment because the RO membrane surface micropores of 0.5 ~ 10nm will not separate pure water and concentrated water through the RO membrane if there is no pressure on the purified water of pretreatment by a high-pressure pump. The RO membrane surface micropores are small and the resistance of the RO membrane is greater than that of pretreatment. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the high-pressure pump to provide higher pressure for the pretreatment water to pass through the RO membrane.

Reverse osmosis system

A reverse osmosis device is to uses enough pressure to make the solution of the solvent (usual water) through the reverse osmosis membrane (or semi-permeable membrane) and separate, because this process and natural osmosis in the opposite direction, so-called reverse osmosis. The reverse osmosis method can adapt to all kinds of raw water with salt content, especially in the water treatment project with high salt content, and can obtain good technical and economic benefits. The reverse osmosis method has the advantages of improved desalination rate, high recovery rate, stable operation, small area, easy operation, reverse osmosis equipment in the desalination, but also the removal of most bacteria, colloid, and large molecular weight organic matter.

Ozone sterilizer/UV sterilizer (optional)

Eliminating bacteria caused by secondary pollution completely guarantee the sanitary index of finished water.
